Lainio Snow Village is a spectacular Arctic attraction built entirely from compacted snow and ice. In addition to its famous Ice Hotel, the village features a wide range of ice sculptures created especially for children, a small snow slide, and an exciting snow maze. While children enjoy playing in the snow-filled surroundings, parents can relax at the unique ice bar or explore the magical icy corridors.
The Snow Village is home to a remarkable snow-and-ice hotel with around 30 rooms and suites, an ice bar, and a stunning ice sculpture gallery. Inside, the temperature remains between –4°C and –7°C, creating a true Arctic atmosphere. In the ice-bed dormitory covered with reindeer skins and in the snow restaurant, everything—from chairs and tables to lamps, fireplaces, and even some utensils—is made of ice.
At the snow restaurant and ice bar, guests can enjoy a warm traditional drink called glögi, as well as lunch or dinner if desired. This unforgettable visit offers a perfect blend of art, architecture, and Arctic imagination.
