Lainio Snow Village is built entirely of two materials – compacted snow and ice. In addition to the Ice Hotel in it there are a lot of ice sculptures created especially for children, a small snow slide and a snow maze. While the children play, parents can visit the unusual ice bar or explore the icy corridors. Here you will find a unique hotel made of snow and ice, 30 rooms, suites, an ice bar, and an ice sculptures gallery. The temperature inside is between -4 and -7 degrees Celsius. In the ice-bed dormitory covered with reindeer skins, and also in the snow restaurant, everything – chairs, armchairs, furniture, lamps, fireplace and even some utensils – is made of ice.
